Perfect location for Cheddar, Wells and the surrounding area. The accommodation was extremely well maintained and presented. Very quiet location. The accommodation is situated at a stable so perfect for those with an interest in horses. For those with no interest in horses, like me, the accommodation was not affected by it being a working stable. A very nice restaurant, The Star, just down the road.

It’s very well located, in a quiet residential area. Shops and takeaways nearby. Nice countryside footpaths. The owners are so lovely and made me feel really at home. The place is very well looked after, very comfortable and well equipped. It has a lovely small back garden (with a sauna!) I definitely recommend it and will go back again.

Lovely cosy cottage, especially as Mr Forbes had lit a roaring log fire for us on arrival. The are plenty of logs and fire lighters and extra logs can be bought for £4 per bag. If you dont want to mess around building a fire there are storage heaters in the lounge and bedroom, if these arent enough there is a portable convection heater. The cottage is well equipped with washing machine, and dishwasher. The bed is comfortable as is the two seater sofa, but this is low and difficult to get out of! There are plenty of places to visit in the area and a trip to jct 17 of the M5 for the aerospace museum where Concorde is exhibited is must.
