This place exceeded our expectations! We booked it last minute after the place were staying at was a huge disappointment. Upon arrival you will feel like you have escaped the chaos of the world and entered the tranquil Tuscan villa that you were dreaming of when you decided on a holiday in Italy. The staff is exceptional and everyone is working hard to ensure your stay is enjoyable and comfortable. The chef is fantastic and there is a laundry list of wines to choose from. The pool was amazing and we swam in it everyday! The spa was a bit basic but nice and private which we liked it. Our room was so nice and the bed was comfortable. They also provide additional nice touches like shower gels, lotion, shampoos, shower caps, etc... It's super close to Cortona...which is a must-see and we also toured a local winery.

Everything, we liked absolutely everything about our stay at La Poventa. Patrizio was super helpful, picked us up & dropped us off at the train station, organised an hairdresser for the Mrs as we were attending a wedding & showed us some sights. Very nice located with beautiful sunsets and quiet surrounding. The owner is really friendly and checking if guests are satisfied. We also received tomatoes from the garden and home made jam. Even though the pool and chill area are shared, you can still have your privacy. This location is comfortable to make one-day car trips to beautiful towns around

I have used Booking a lot and the house Villa Biba I rate as the best one I have ever stayed in. It is an old house with the history of over 100 years but at the best modern standard with modern furniture, kitchen equipment etc.. We stayed there very comfortably in the group of 7 but it would be no problem to accomodate more persons. The location was great for our plans to do various trips in Umbria and Toscany. The host was superfriendly and very responsive going an extra mile to communicate even in Polish over WhatsApp. The house is very well equipped. It lacks AC but it was not a problem (even in the middle of the heat in July) as the house is built of stone and it was easy to make the draft opening the windows. It is located in the outskirts of the town but with other houses around where one can observe the life of the local community.

Fabrizio was a fantastic host. A delayed check in was accommodated and tips on areas to visit in the neighbourhood were provided. The house is ideally located, and the trip went perfect. Supermarkets and restaurants are at a 10 min driving distance. Swimming pool was cleaned during the stay as well, which was a big plus. Two bathrooms were also a great feature. Kitchen is well equipped. Finally, the netflix subscription was a bonus.
