Everything about this property is top of the board. Location in town is as good as any in this small community. The amenities provided within the room and the small touches inside and outside the room are comparable to a 4 to 5 star location. All fittings seemed fairly new, keeped clean and of the best quality. We have stayed in over ten properties on our trip though Southern England and this property is by far the nicest and best keep of any we stayed at.

location is fab - right on the river and so peaceful, breakfast was amazing - we ate out on the roof terrace next to the river, hosts were lovely - they couldn’t do enough for you and were warm and welcoming

Super helpful staff who responded quickly when we reported a plumbing issue in our room. Very friendly personal service. This historic hotel is in a great position on the front with fantastic views. We had a very comfortable stay and a great breakfast.

The hotel is right on the sea front and rooms with sea view, which we had look out into the estuary. Great for people watching and watching the surfers. Breakfast was great...preordered the night before and evening meals also good. They make sure that residents are offered tables first. Given there are only 3 or 4 places to eat in the evening some with limited menus it's well worth prebooking
