Owner was awake on the late night and the girl who is the manger at the property was also there to welcome us and it was 1am in the morning she made us a cup of tea with smiling face. It was exceptional

I had an amazing time at Sanka's place. Two days before I arrived in Sri Lanka for my first solo trip. Sanka was really welcoming and made me feel at home. He learned me some Sinhala and introduced me to the habits and culture of the country. He was free from work so he showed me around and we visited a lot of places in the region of Anuradhapura and Mihintale together. I really enjoyd hearing story's and opinions from a locals perspective about the ancient city. I planned to stay two days but ended up staying four days. I highly reccomend this place!

The owner was very helpful with everything we needed including arrangements for trip regardless he doesn’t speak English. Location near the lake where there are restaurants.
