This stay would have been ideal if I had a car but the host was very accommodating for me as a solo traveler! Got me to and from the train station, and even helped me get to Cortona for a day visit. The property itself was deeply serene. I loved listening to the birds in the early morning. Also, great snacks and treats provided! And a great market less than a mile away I was able to walk to. I will be thinking about La Renaia frequently and dreaming of my next stay!

The location was remote, relaxing & quiet. Lovely sunset view! The gift of the wonderful bottle of wine was appreciated! Close proximity to Cortona was great for evenings out for dinner! Nice location for visiting Assisi & Siena.

Everything was perfect, and we recommend without hesitation. Our host Giuseppe was charming, gracious, and made sure we had everything we needed, during our 8 day stay. Breakfast was abundant and delicious, rooms were lovely, and the grounds and pool were breathtaking.

We loved everything. It is a stunning apartment, beautiful and completely new construction - all high quality and well designed. the pool and pool area were also idyllic. The breakfast was always delicious with a nice variety of dishes every day with cappuccino every morning. We can’t wait to return on another occasion. The dog on the property is super well behaved and friendly. We miss him already. If you are not a dog person, it’s okay because he will stay away. The beds were comfortable and the place was quiet. The kitchen was well equipped. We were thrilled!

This place is just amazing! The location so close to Cortona is unbeatable, the facilities are top-notch and the owners are amazingly friendly. It really is a fantastic place to spend a few days, with a great swimming pool that is the cherry on the cake. This is the kind of place where you immediately feel like home and where you know you want to come back. We certainly will be back!

The owners met us at a nearby location and showed us the way to the property. They were super lovely people and the house was spotless and charming. Perfect location to explore Cortona, just on the hill below the walled city. You can walk up to the city if you want a short hike. After checking in, the owners showed me how to get to the grocery store and when I realized that I forgot my phone to navigate back, they waited for me to complete some shopping and lead me back to the house! At the house there are 2 units and the other unit was occupied by an amazing British family who invited my son over for lunch as I went out to explore and then we all went to dinner at their favorite restaurant in Cortona. They told me that they come back to this house every year.
