such a unique property with breathtaking views of Pietrapertosa! within walking distance to food and markets. we were able to buy food and make dinner at the apartment. the apartment itself is built into the mountain, the bathroom and bedroom have a rock wall which give the apartment character. we parked at the bottom of the hill near Cum Bar and walked up to the apartment, it is a bit of a jaunt but if you pack light it isn’t too bad. the parking was safe, as was the entirety of the town. from the apartment the castle was a short walk. Pietrapertosa was a beautiful unique town with lovely people.

They had a lavazza machine and a selection of coffees! Was easy to find, host was super useful and made is feel welcome :) even gave us some fresh tomatoes from her farm!

I was sent by WhatsApp a video of the drive into the property and where to park - I wish more hosts would do this it was so helpful. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and had a very well equipped kitchen. It was lovely and cool inside. The small patio garden was very nice.

our hostess is an art curator and has decorated this beautiful space with many pieces of art. A nice large space with a bi kitchen. our hostess showed me where to park and even paid for the day and then drove me back to the apartment.

Il posto è bellissimo e la casa ha tutto quello che serve. La signora è stata un tesoro con noi, e ci è venuta incontro per posticipare di un giorno l'arrivo, dato che abbiamo avuto un imprevisto. Torneremo sicuramente è consigliamo molto questa struttura!!!

Pietrapertosa è già uno splendido posto, ma la Dimora del contadino ne aumenta il fascino. Abbiamo soggiornato nella suite Dioniso che è stata ricavata dall'antica stalla, non c'è l'aria condizionata, ma non se ne sente la mancanza. Volendo c'è anche un angolo cottura. La colazione è servita in un bar vicino. L'host è gentilissimo e ci ha dato un sacco di informazioni sulla storia del paese e su cosa fare durante il soggiorno

A beautiful stone house in a very unique village perched on top of the Lucanian Dolomites. The property was newly renovated with all the amenities we needed, the view from the garden was superb. The host Ana Maria went out of her way to help us when we arrived in the pouring rain. Despite the weather, we thoroughly enjoyed our time in Pietrapertosa.
