A rare find! Everything was prepared for our arrival (hot tub on, ice machine full, logs ready to put in the outside burner...). The space is extremely comfortable and the bathroom well sized. Everything was clean and the kitchen was full with all the utensils required (and a dishwasher!). This place exceeded what was already high expectations.

The apartment is spotless and the facilities first class. It is located just above Lochinver so has stunning views across the bay and a fabulous patio seating on which to enjoy it. The private parking means unpacking is easy. It’s an ideal base for exploring the area and climbing or walking up the mountains. The a washing machine is a real bonus given the unpredictable weather of Scotland. A real home from home which I highly recommend. As a couple we had plenty of room to relax in.

This is one of the highlight of our stay along the north coast. The road getting here can be hair raising but oh boy was it worth it. the view alone with sunset over achmelvich beach is reason enough to choose this place. then add that to Dorothy’s hospitality- you couldn’t ask for more. we couldn’t thank her and her husband enough to have this place and to share it to travelers like us. for the property itself — extremely well done, well thought of, well executed. We were able to prepare our breakfast, drank coffee with the sunrise at the deck, and sleep our most comfortable bed for two nights. it was remote, no phone signal - but who needs it anyway for a place like this!!! I wish we could have stayed longer, but vacation must end. thank you so much to our wonderful host.

The location, facilities and welcome were all wonderful. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to spend our first week in Scotland. We would absolutely stay again and I would highly recommend to anyone.
