My husband, two daughters (11 and 8), our cockapoo and I stayed here for two nights. The caravan was large, well equipped, spotlessly clean and very homely. The site is quite small (compared to more commercial sites) and set in a beautiful location, surrounded by forest. It has a small shop, which stocked all of the essentials. The bar/restaurant was fantastic and had a modern outside seating area. We ate there on the Friday and got two ribeye steaks, sides and wine for £30, which we thought was extremely good value. Overall, this is a wonderful place to visit and we will definitely be returning!

the property was surprisingly nice. the location was perfect as we were looking for something more remote and in the middle of nature . there is a small shop on site which is nice and there are plenty of things nearby to see , however we opted to visit Lake District as it wasn’t that far of a drive from it. the property is a 2 bed , the beds size are reasonable for the property .
