Room was a decent size, we upgraded to have a mountain view and that was well worth the extra cost. Breakfast was fantastic. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They offered services for pick up and drop off to the train station in town, which was great because it's a decent incline and walk to the hotel.

Such a great property, in fact our favorite out of 5 hotels we stayed in during our Switzerland trip. The hotel had such a lovely charm about it, including a great garden area and modern terrace where you could relax with awesome views. The hotel served a 4-course meal, which was not only a bargain for Switzerland meals but it was delicious!! Daniel, the main person who helped us during our stay was so engaged, friendly and helpful. He has such a wonderful demeanor and was willing to help regarding where to go, routes to take and also called and arranged a massage appointment. Loved this hotel!

Breathtaking view from the balcony, Alex was very helpful and he and his wife even gave us some fresh eggs from their chickens during our stay. It is a large house with plenty of room, about a 10 min walk from the train station at Wengen. Very quiet at night and we would love to return one day

It really gives you a feel of how life here was in the past. From the antiques in the lobby to the old elevator, everything in this hotel was something to look at. However, it was the receptionist that made our whole stay even better. She is a very hardworking lady that is running this family business. She is always in a happy and smiling mood that really lights up the whole place. The view from this place is the beautiful, would highly recommend it if you’re looking for a good view.

Centrally located in Wengen. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need to include oils and spices and all sorts of cookware, dishes, electric kettle, etc. Very, very clean and comfortable. Check in was very easy and they pick you up at the Wengen train station to help you transport your luggage.
