A quaint, peaceful cottage close to the Peak District! The views are stunning from the cottage, you feel like you are far away from reality! Would definitely recommend. Josh was very accommodating of our requests, e.g. late check out. Would love to come back for a longer stay!

Lovely host and warm welcome on arrival including wine and cakes. Good property facilities. We were on a walking break and it was great that public footpaths could walk be accessed straight from the property.

Eileen the host was very welcoming. It's one of two 'dog friendly' holiday lets (the second let 'The Stable' being a larger one bedroom) within a converted outbuilding with its décor in keeping with the fabric of the property. The studio is very compact, with the best views and has every thing required. There is a double bed rather than a sofa bed tucked nicely in the corner, although there is only a limited amount of space either side. The kitchen area has a fridge, full size oven and hob, microwave, toaster etc. The bathroom has a large shower. So no complaints. A lovely garden with a couple of miniature ponies in a small paddock. Birchover is an ideal location for the great outdoors with walks right on your door step. There are a couple of pubs that serve food within 2 mins walk, but no village shop. The nearest being in Winster 2 miles away.

Lovely location with plenty of walks available on the doorstep. The Druid inn opposite served great food. Comfortable accommodation with everything you need for a stay away from home. Dog friendly too!

The cottage is very comfortable, well equipped, and within easy range of some beautiful walks in the Derbyshire Dales. It is pet friendly, and I am sue that my Border Collie enjoyed our stay.
