Host was polite and very friendly. We faced a problem in Luxor with a taxi driver (see our review about hotel Stiengerberger Achti resort last week). The host listened to us and tried to help us. So if you decide to stay at his place, be sure that you are in safe hands.

Much nicer to stay here than on east bank of Luxor. View over Rameses iii mortuary temple is unbelievable. Have breakfast surrounded by hot air balloons every morning. Good for self catering, fridge, kitchen, washing machine etc. strong wifi in all parts of house.

Hathor house was the cherry of our marvelous Egypt trip. We were 4 adults 3 kids and the house was perfect for all ages.. the pools were amazing we all have so much fun there. The house has a great design and style, the kitchen, the bathrooms, the beds everything was new, modern, clean and comfortable. Is the perfect oasis to relax and enjoy after many days doing intensive sightseeing around the country. The staff is awesome, Ramada, Wely and Saba were always very helpful and attentive and Oscar was a great host. We really recommend this beautiful house.

The location just 25 meters from the Nile was wonderful. We saw many kindes of water fowl, and wading birds feeding on the beach of the Nile. There was a beautifil view of not only the river, the Temple of Luxor lit up, but also the Valley of the Kings illuminated at nigh. The location is also very close to the ferry dock which runs every 15 min. So, it is very acceesiblt to the East Bank, without the noise, and hawkers and traffic that go with living in that area. We had a donkey in the neighbor's yard anthe occasional loud braying of that animal and the calls th prayer wwer the only interuption in the solitude. The terrace is shaded and a very comfortable place to hang out and have some drinks while admiring the view of the town. The hot was for showers was powerful and plentiful, a welcome relief to end a strenuous day of touring. The AC and WiFI also worked very well. Beautiful bee-hive domed ceiing of the bedroom!

The host was excellent. The villa was comfortable and close to the Nile river and restaurants. The private pool was refreshing and just what we needed to relax after our long days of touring the city. The Egyptian people were friendly and always helpful. We were very comfortable here and always felt welcome and safe.
