The Barbeque and log fire. The rooms had hot water and heater in the bed room. The rooms had attractive names. No long distances to be walked. The owner was friendly and provided fresh milk, in the morning in our rooms early in the morning. It is best to talk to him before arrival. Local beer was excellent.

We love it here! Sonja, Buddhi and their staff are all wonderful. Very welcoming, friendly and trustworthy (I left my laptop with them for a couple weeks while we went trekking in the far west - all good - thanks again guys!) The rooms are exquisitely clean (some of the cleanest I've found in the country) and the place is so pretty & relaxing. We didn't do any jungle activities this time as we just wanted to chill but there was no pressure. However, the prices seemed very reasonable. Next time! The location is perfect. The garden is idyllic. We stayed longer because we liked it so much!

The owner Krishna makes sure the guest is comfortable and tries his best to get the guest what it needs. Can be just food wise or maybe you want to go on a trek and need a guide, you might want to go on a jungle safari. Jeep, walking safari or sleep in a treehouse, he got you covered. The rooms are nice and roomy. good pressure on the shower and fans above the beds as well. Really nice location too. It's located next to the river with the nationalpark on the other side. As I'm writing this sitting in the dining area on top, I see an elephant come out of the forest in the river. Around a 10 min walk to Hattisar (Elephant stable) which is really nice to be around sunset. beautiful place to see all the wildlife possible. You have to be lucky, but I have seen groups of elephant, a tiger, many deer and some special birds like the great hornbill! You'll love the place as I'm sure I do.

Beautiful location amidst thick forest. Extremely welcoming staff with awesome warmth and helpful. Food menu customized to your liking, simple yet best. Tharu folk dance was bonus attraction. Resort organized jungle safari absolutely hassle free with guide, drinking water and all clearance formalities. Great experience. Bon fire in the evening amidst greens added beauty to the whole experience.

Loved the atmosphere and vibe of this resort. Such a cozy stay with fantastic people, and food. Really world class place to stop thru and experience life in Nepal. The safari was a great way to explore the wilderness and have a wonderful walk thru the nepalese jungle. All staff welcomed us like family and we are grateful for each moment in Bardia wildlife resort. Thanks for everything.

Everyone on staff, from the owner to the guides and cook, were extremely helpful and responsive. Rooms are very basic, no amenities such as shampoo and soap, air conditioning etc. but that was as expected. It is the jungle, after all. The gardens are lovely and well maintained with lots of nice places to sit. Property is quite close to the park. Guides are all local and possess remarkable knowledge about the plants and animals. They are quite dedicated to the safety of their guests, and try hard to give them the best possible experience when looking for wildlife. Restaurant on property offers fairly large selection of mostly western dishes, with a more limited selection of Nepali food.

Everything was great. Local charm from a hotel owner who's spent years in the jungle and knows the place and wildlife like no one else. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Food was good and in large portions. Guided trips in the jungle were spectacular.

The welcoming staffs were amazing. The Beautiful garden just outside the room will make you feel relaxed and chilled all the time. You can wake up to the sound of nature and birds. Wild planet is just 2-3 minutes walk from Bardia National Park entrance gate. The guide (Shivaraj Magar) is an angel. Lion might be the king of the jungle but Shivaraj is King of Bardia. He made our stay great and took it to the next level. The jungle walk with Shivaraj was one of the best I had in years. He eyes are sharp like eagles, he can hear from miles away and smell everything around. This place Definitely recommended to everything. With the price you are paying nothing can beat this place. I'm surely visiting this place again.

My time at eco friendly homestay was wonderful. There you can feel like at home, it's like a oasis of peace. Bashu made my stay very comfortable and was always helping me whatever need i can have. I tasted Sarita tasty recipes only the last day, and it was one of the best i had in Nepal, the other days Rashmi was cooking and caring about the place, she did an absolutely great job. We slept one day in the tree House, i can only recommend this experience in real wilderness, as well as the walking safari with Prakash.
