Paul and Leslie were generous and friendly hosts, always available to answer questions and give recommendations for the surrounding area. We especially enjoyed Paul's breakfasts, Leslie's sharing of the history of the area, as well as the luxurious room we stayed in. Coffee and tea were available throughout the day as were several different types of fruit. We definitely appreciated the comfortable bed to sleep in, and the fast wifi that enabled me to get a bit of work done. Their home is centrally located, allowing easy visits to several different towns, beaches, and villages.

The Location was amazing. Remote with beautiful countryside walks. You could walk to moors or walk along the river camel. Dog friendly with a garden to accommodate dogs. A utility room for washing and washing line available. Very Eco friendly, degradable bin liners, eco washing up liquid, natural soap provided, this gave a very special touch as well as the cornish tea and coffee provided and biscuits and hot chocolate. Log burner was great, the cottage was very warm without using fire. Jimmy the owner greeted us with a very friendly and helpful attitude. Very quiet and peaceful. We had a great week. Thanks Jimmy! We wanted to leave you a note to say thank you but didn't have pen or paper.

The hotel is set in a lovely area just 15/20 min drive to multiple beaches and walks. It also has a great old fashioned interior that makes it feel like a medieval manor house (which we loved)! Great breakfast and bar facilities :)

The property was in lovely surroundings, with beautiful views. The room was spacious with everything that was wanted and needed the bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
