Owner was rude and insulting to our driver upon arrival. He tried to aggressively convince us to eat in the hotel as “there were no other options available in town”. (Note, we probably had the best veal tanjine of our trip at Jnan Soussia). However the hotel is beautiful, rooms are authentic and it is in the middle of town right next to the souks.

Beautiful Ecolodge on the outskirts of Taroudant overlooking the wall. It was calm and peaceful, lovely staaf and delicious food. The rooms were very cozy and decorated with traditional Moroccan/Berber artefacts. i can definitely recommend it to anyone.

What a place this is. We were the only guests in this huge and historic Kasbah, and we were made to feel so welcome. The host gave us a tour of the place, with some of its histories. The meals were in the dining room, superbly presented and with such professionalism too. The wood fire was lit, one for the romantics too. This is no ordinary place to stay, what an experience. Highly recommended if the norm is not your thing!
