Loved getting homemade breakfast served to the room each day. It might be nice to post what the breakfast menu will be each night, although I know some people like the surprise. The staff was very friendly (along with the canine greeter, Lucas)! The decor added to the history of the old house and made it serene and relaxing.

It was a place to stay while in Placerville. It could use some revamping but it was close to stores. It could use an updated AC as well, it just had a wall unit that was near a window towards the back. So the cooling could be better.

Rustic, charming and very reasonably priced. It was built in the 1850s and the rooms are small, but with all the modern amenities you'd expect (Hulu TV, A/C, a small dinette with fridge). Many nice restaurants within a short walk. Parking is free and right behind the hotel.
