I loved the location of this hotel and the whole atmosphere. It was so relaxing. We enjoyed breakfast at the hotel. It was a little pricey - but it was delicious and very convenient. We didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel, but it had all the essentials - a clean room, comfy beds and a nice bathroom. It's not super fancy - it's very much geared to outdoorspeople so just bear that in mind. The staff was very knowledgeable and pointed us in a great direction for some outdoor activities.. The hotel is an easy 20 minute ride to Tahoe. I rather enjoyed being away from all the hustle and bustle of Lake life. One thing -- don't miss downtown Truckee. It is a great little town with some charming shops and a variety of restaurants. I think they were better than either the shopping area in Kings Beach or Tahoe City.

The suite layout with the 3 floors, the kitchen living room and views, the balconies, parking was easy and right out front. Bed were comfortable, house good for adults and kids. They had puzzles which we enjoyed! Stocked with towels, and we were able to do laundry!

Close to the lifts - not quite walkable during pandemic times in ski boots but I could see doing it in regular boots and changing at the lodge. Parking is quirky - you have to back up the road to a turnaround, the map shows the road going through but the condo association has a gate up - no big deal, just quirky.

The rooms are very spacious. We were traveling with our 4 year old so snacks and activities start to spread out quickly. The hotel itself was a great location near the freeway and the main town of Truckee.

First time staying at this hotel, we loved it!! Lobby, breakfast, facilities, laundry room, rooms are so nice!! Staff members very nice and polite!! A big shout to Rosario at breakfast. She is so attentive and amazing lovely.
