I was very surprised to see a listing on the internet which said this hotel is one star. i thought everything was very good. The room was very reasonably priced, clean and Campu is a great place to base oneself for local outdoors, eg Caleao or Bezanes. Given the stars, it’s not going to have a spa, but I presume that’s not why most people go there. I would definitely stay again.

We needed a break from our hectic working lives. The house was located in the mountains just great, especially if you love to climb or walk. The tranquil village was just that tranquil. You need to speak Spanish or you have to start the mime game or get the translator out on your phone , awesome I learned lots. Everyone, helpful and chatty even if it is lots of sign language. The super markets were plentiful in the other larger towns about 10-15 Km away and had what you needed. But don't forget the village shop he has loads of produce. The place is set in a beautiful national park and I urge you to go and recharge your batteries.

La casa tenía de todo, con espacio de sobra para colocar la ropa y organizarse. Los anfitriones estuvieron siempre pendientes de cualquier cosa que pudiéramos necesitar. Está situada en un punto elevado de la ladera. Y aunque eso hace un poco más trabajosos los paseos, proporciona unas vistas de todo el monte y de parte del pueblo preciosas. Todo el Parque de Redes es francamente bonito de recorrer. El coche lo pudimos dejar sin problemas en un espacio libre al costado de la casa. Caso tiene un par de tiendas de ultramarinos donde puede comprarse lo más necesario. La confitería/panadería vende unos suspiros y casadielles de reputación más que merecida (comparamos con los de otros sitios y nos gustaron más los de Caso).

Super location and lovely building. Breakfast is superb - a buffet with lots of choice, fresh cheese, eggs. Anybody doing some activity needs a good breakfast and this one is excellent!
