The hotel was in a lovely historical and centrally located building. The person who received us turned out to be quite nice, although our initial impression was unfavorable because she was apparently exhausted and overwhelmed by an event taking place at the hotel that day. The room and public areas were huge and full of atmosphere. We were thrilled that there was A/C (although noisy) in our top floor room because we arrived during an extreme heat wave. Since we had to leave too early for the included breakfast, we were invited to help ourselves to yogurt, milk for coffee, and fruits from the refrigerator in the morning.

Very quiet room with balcony overlooking a little courtyard which is part of the facility. Very clean and tidy, with a little coffee/tea service in the room available. In suite bathroom and shower, very clean. The owners/staff were great and very helpful with suggestions for restaurants. Very close walking distance to La Cite and the city center. Excellent breakfast. And yes, air conditioning!

This is a lovely old building located on the other side of the river from the Chateau/old town,but still in a lovely part of Carcassonne with good shopping and some lovely squares with bars/cafes. Its about a 20 minute walk to get to the old town central square. The owners were very helpful and breakfast was great.... all you need. We took advantage of the private parking but book this in advance.

This place is incredible! The hosts (and their dog) were very welcoming and had tons of recommendations for the city. The breakfast was excellent, room was beautiful and we enjoyed using the pool in the afternoons. If we return to Carcassonne we will definitely be staying at 45BB again!

We loved the location as close to the fortress at Carcassonne. It was an easy level walk. Parking was safe within a secure gate. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The hostess was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. She provided an exceptional breakfast. She was multilingual.

Denise is a perfect host, very welcoming. Accommodation is quiet and comfy with a good shower and thoughtful attention to detail throughout. Excellent location and the pool/ area is an added bonus.
