The most pleasant Booking.com experience ever, and we have been using the platform for quite a few years now. The house was impeccably clean and tidy, was spacious and comfortable and carefully decorated, including with great, original artwork by the host. The latter was incredibly kind and even provided us with breakfast ingredients and other essentials that were very useful during our stay. Our expectations were definitely exceeded in every way and we hope to return to Casa Dourada in the future.

Some may find the automatic check-in and the key-code entry peculiar, but we appreciated it with the only issue that booking/owner sent us the code coordinates too late so we had to call the owner to step in. The appartment is nice, well accessorized and the host is available to offer you all necessary details. There is also a cozy terrace behind the appartment.

We liked everything about this lovely place, very well laid out, spotlessly clean and so comfortable. Great location for peace and tranquility, a must stay in our opinion and we are tough to please at the best of times. A few clever, quirky little extras giving it the personal touch, I won’t reveal them, it would spoil the pleasant surprise! Felt very safe and secure too. A true gem and will definitely return again and again.

NOS ENCANTOOOOOO , fue increíble la piscina es un espectáculo. We were very surprised by the very friendly and personal welcome by Filomena and Paulo. They did everything to let us feel at home. We only stayed 1 night, since we did the camino. But it was unforgettable. Nice pool, a family ancient very weel maintained house. The breakfast was the best ever, and there were bread etc to make nice sandwiches for the next days walk. Quite close to the camino, but they insisted to drive us to the camino path, since we had a long walk. W e will come back and stay for some days

La atención ha sido espléndida. Desde que llegamos se preocuparon por nosotros. El espacio en el que está la casa es fantástico y la casa es grande. Además en coche se llega rápido a Porto, Guimaraes, Braga o Viana do Castelo. Está en muy buena zona.

A warm welcome from Mr. Hugo, who during our stay was ready to help us and advise us on interesting trips. A beautiful garden with equipment for children (playground, slide...) and a great pool. The house has a great atmosphere.
