The food was delicious, staff was incredibly helpful and kind! They even had a little yukata for our 1 year old. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed for him.

Kaiseki style on the table mixt with buffet style. Very interesting. We used gloves and the distance between the tables was big. I felt very safe. Beautiful food.

Staff were all polite, well trained and friendly. Lots of experienced professionals from the entrance to breakfast table. It is one of those places where you feel you are in good hands. What we liked next to this was availability of individual dining room. We were three families enjoying Onsen together over a couple of nights. We all stayed in different rooms but we could get together to enjoy dining in an exclusive dining room. It was best for us families with small children who constantly wanted to go round. If you are visiting this hotel in Summer months, there is a big chance that you catch a few minutes of nightly fireworks from your room. Make sure that you get the higher floor room with the view of Suwa Lake. It is worth it. Availability of Onsen and Japanese style rooms made it our top choice as well as the view of fireworks.
