We liked the location, delicious breakfast (waffles especially), and the cleanliness, but what stood out the most were the staff. They were some of the friendliest, most helpful people we met on our 2-week trip. They had suggestions for local events and gave us great suggestions for swimming spots when the temperatures outdoors were reaching 100 degrees.

Location was extremely close to Hwy 12. Friendly owners live in an adjacent property and were able to assist us during a power outage. Our kids loved seeing elk roam around the property. Fantastic stay!

Everything was very accessible and clearly marked. There were different towels for bathing and the spa bath. It was very homely and relaxing.

very cozy with all the nature feel surrounding us . cabin has all the essentials. very near mount rainier, the bed very comfortable. very ideal for a couple just wanting peace , quiet , away from the noise and hassle of the city . the river/ creek in the backyard just adds to the charm . firepit/fireplace with available wood. gas grill works great . the ambiance of the place is absolutely perfect . great Wi-Fi, t with all movie channels . hike to paradise and longmire. I highly recommend

We enjoyed our stay at the Stormking Hotel. Lovely cabin located in a secluded area near the park entrance and Ashford where there are a few restaurants. The cabin is very clean and bed very comfortable. The private hot tub on the porch was greatly appreciated after the strenuous hike in the park. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
