After a two week trip touring Portugal, we were looking for a hotel near Lisbon to relax for a day before traveling back to the U.S.A. We were so fortunate to have found The Albatroz Hotel. The setting and views were beautiful, the pool was beautiful, and the hotel is charming and elegant. I am so glad they have not stripped the hotel of its character like many historic hotels have done. The bed was comfortable, and there was plenty of hot water and water pressure for the shower. We loved the location for its setting on the water and convenience for walking around Cascais. The Lisbon airport was only about a 35 minute drive! We would definitely stay here again.

spacious, well-equipped apartment on one of the main streets that was an easy 5-10 min walk to the beach. It was very easy with kids. we loved that they came daily to clean the apartment, unexpected! loved sitting and having dinner on the balcony! I also loved that they arranged pick-up from the airport, it made the experience stress-free for us with young kids.

We loved the apartment. We paid 7.50 euros for breakfast by booking it directly. 9 if you precook here. You should know Porto is VERY hilly. The Ribeira is about 1000’ downhill from here and the main center is probably the same UPHILL, making this a good middle ground for everything. Can’t speak highly enough about Bárbara, the gal who checked us in. She also gave us tickets which we paid for, for the yellow bus hop on/off. It was Oct. 8 when we started using our 2 day pass and they only ran each 1.5 hours. Check the schedule if this is not often enough for you. Would DEFINITELY stay here again..Ved this place.
