The room was big, with good facilities and very clean - I especially liked the bathroom and terrace. The staff at reception were friendly and helpful. Location is good and most attractions in the city centre are within walking distance.

The hotel was very well located. They provide a map of Chengdu and are very helpful. They have a lovely terrasse to have a drink or breakfast with lots of plants. I loved the paintings in the rooms. They will suggest good restaurants.

We liked the central location and the amazing thoughtful staff. It was our wedding anniversary and the staff surprised us with a cake and bottle of wine! We also celebrated a friends birthday and a discount at the bar was given!

It's probably one of the best hotels I've stayed at in China. The staff have an impeccable attention to detail, extremely friendly, speak English. Breakfast large, with good variety (a juice bar!). A Michelin rated restaurant is on site. Very cool bar with unique cocktails (Szechuan Hot Pot Tequila??). Pool and gym are fine, hot tub in the changing room is a nice addition.

The hotel is stunning, built in a traditional style, and in an area which is similar to an ancient town. It's exceptionally clean, no dust at all considering everything is made from dark wood. The staff spoke conversational English and were very helpful, especially one young man at reception, he provided me with a map, and recommended some places for me to visit. The hotel doesn't offer any meals but there are many restaurants nearby, including a lovely vegetarian hotpot, a teashop and a bar right opposite, which plays music till 1am. I could hear it faintly from my room, but it wasn't an issue for me. Unfortunately the spa was not operational during my visit, which was a shame. The location is very good, it's a 10 minute walk to the subway, and there are many shops along the way, Chunxi Rd was 3 stops away.
