The villa is located in a lovely, peaceful and quiet spot not far from chania. The surrounding nature, swooping swallows and view of the white mountains made for a serene atmosphere. The outside area was equipped superbly, with a barbecue area, lounge furniture and a fantastic gazebo area for dining and gathering. The pool was on the smaller side but perfect for a little dip. The building was gorgeous and all the rooms well decorated and very clean. The shower and wash facilities exceeded expectations in function and style. Overall I wished I had booked for longer, it was difficult to leave! Our host was incredibly gracious and made sure that we had everything we needed. I will definitely be staying here again!

Apart from the very conformable house, that has anything you might need, the care of the owners and not to forget their vegetable garden was amazing. When we arrived there were all kinds of lovely jams, honey and olive oil already in the house and after a small tour of the garden we had enough fresh fruits and vegetables for the whole week. Every day there was a new surprise like wine, home made bread or even grilled fish awaiting us. One day we went on an amazing boat trip with the son touring the south coast of Crete, visiting beautiful little bays, snorkeling and eating amazing local food. The best day of our holiday!

veldig fint område, lett å komme seg inn til Chania og Platanias med buss. Fin lokal strand 5 min unna huset, og dagligvarebutikk langs veien. Rent og ryddig da vi kom, og var lagt til rette for alt man skulle trenge av utstyr!

Прекрасая нова вила с современным ремонтом. Оснащена всем необходимым для комфортного отдыха. Очень удобная кровать. До прекрасного пляжа 1 минута, желтый песок, не многолюдно. Есть джакузи вечером после пляжа встречать закаты одно удовольствие. Есть дорога между домом и пляжем, но для нас это было не проблема. Рядом есть автобусная остановка с городским автобусом до Ханьи и соседних городов.

We loved everything about the Afrodite house! It is an amazing house with family history which is very well maintained by his current owner. From the very first step through the front door you can see that there is plenty of care and love put into the house. If you are looking for a feeling of real Cretan small town, this place is for you. The host is also extremely welcoming. We felt like we are just far family members who come by for a weekend. The house is perfect. Just 40 minutes away from the airport in Chania it is located in a beautiful small village. The owner prepared vegtable, fruits and drinks as a welcome gift, which was really nice. Nikos helped us with recommendations for the area (post office, best place to buy fish for the barbecue) Thank you!

Beautiful place, spacious, huge balcony, grill available and ready for bbq. Very well equipped. It is also very close to Chania center by car. Easy accsess to the main roads, very good spot for day trips.
